Price of renting

The price of renting is calculated on the basis of the renting duration. The basic price varies according to the type of the car. The insurance Civil Responsibility, the options of the car and the maintenance expenses are included in the price. One day of renting means every period of 24 hours. Avis offers you 59 supplementary minutes to return the rented car. We apply different rates to fit with all your needs/wishes: - Local rates for one renting day, weekend or week. -Prices for the vehicles with commercial purposes. ) -Special holiday prices (in summer as well as in winter . -Rates adapted to the companies which rent regularly in Tunisia and/or abroad

Cover/Insurance

Material damage Cover CDW

As tenant, you are responsible for all damages caused to the car as well as for the financial consequences. The Collision Damage Weaver (CDW) covers you in case of responsible accident while limiting your financial responsibility until the amount of the exemption.

The occupant insurance PAI

The Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is a cover that protects the occupants (drivers and passengers) against the financial consequences of a given accident, to some limit. Please consult the terms of this insurance on a simple request.

Theft Cover TP

As tenant, you are responsible for the financial consequences in case of theft of the car or its parts. The Theft Protection (TP) is a cover against the risk, in case of theft, which is included in most our standard prices and that reduces the financial responsibility until the exemption.Please do not hesitate to ask for more information about this cover during your reservation or at the moment you are picking up the car.

Additional costs

Airport overcharge: An extra charge of 5,000 TD (not including vat) is added to all contracts in all airport stations. Special equipment: If you require car accessories (seat child or baby seat), we advise you to mention it at the moment of the reservation. We charge10.000 TD (not including vat) for special equipment and per day of renting. Fuel: before resturning the car, Please note that you have to refuel. If you don't make the refuel, Avis will charge you the fuel expenses with a price superior to the one of the service station.

Payment

Methods of payment for the individuals

Please note that you can pay your invoices either with the Avis credit card or with an international credit card approved by Avis. (Attention: the cards 'debet or debit' Electron-Maestro Indigo issued by Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard are not means of payment approved by Avis. For some categories of vehicles (M,I and J), we ask for two different credit cards, accepted by Avis.
